Insights

Enabling the Insights Feature

In order to enable the insights feature, you must speak with EZICHEQ first, who will enable it for you.

Once insights are enabled, the 'Dashboard' header will become a drop-down which will include the new insights tab.

What is the goal of Insights?

Insights was created to help companies better manage their assets. Insights offers companies valuable information on the status of their items over-time, when checks are being performed, and by who.

Creating a new Insight

When opening the Dashboard > Insights page, the default graph will be total items per week grouped by their result. This data is captured every Sunday, and goes back until the beginning of May of 2023 (or when the company was created). To view this graph on the dashboard, just click 'Save to Dashboard', which will save the current filters, and allow the graph saved to be seen on the dashboard page. Note: this will reset the graph back to total items per week grouped by result.

Modifying Insights

We have a range of data that might be useful for your company. Options to look at include Total Items, Items Created, Signouts, And various forms of Checks. This data can be organised Per Week, Month, User, Item Type, or Division, and can be grouped by Result, User, Division, or Item Type, depending on the current graph.

Graphs can be viewed as BarCharts or LineCharts, can be filtered by Divisions or Item Types. Depending on the graph, the scope can be changed also. We provide the option to display up to 15 weeks of data when organising per week, or for check related data we allow companies to control a threshold for which users with checks below that threhold for the current filters will not display.

These graphs can be shared with everybody by Administrators, or just saved to the users dashboard. Graphs can be given custom titles too, where more meaning may be conveyed

Modifying a saved Insight

To modify an Insight saved to the dashboard, click the edit button displayed on the graph. Any adjustments made will be saved to the graph next time you see it, aslong as the 'Save Changes' button is clicked!
