Divisions
Enabling the Division Feature
In order to enable the divisions feature, you must speak with EZICHEQ first, who will enable it for you.
Once divisions are enabled, all items will be "unallocated", and users without admin permission will no longer have access to any of them. Therefore we recommend temporarily granting all users the Hub Access permission by first setting their role to Custom and then turning on that switch. In this way they will continue to have access to these unallocated items while you get your divisions setup. Once divisions are setup and users are assigned to divisions, you can remove this temporary setting and that will lock them into just the divisions they have access to.
What is a Division?
A division is like a bucket that items can go in. Every item belongs to exactly one division, or else it is “Unallocated.” No other record in EZICHEQ is divided into divisions. Checklists, item types, and users are shared amongst all of the divisions.

Users may be granted or denied access to divisions on a per-division basis on their user page under

In order to access a division, click on the company name in the upper right of the website and select the company and division from the pulldown. One of them will be named
Moving Items Between Divisions
You can move items between divisions and out of Unallocated on each item page. You can also move them more rapidly from the item list page by clicking on the division column for the item, and then picking the division you wish to move the item to. This may make the item disappear from the list as it moves out of the division you are looking at (unless you are doing this from the Hub).
